Review Settings is a menu that allows you to change approval settings, create checklists and set up a spellchecker.
How to change approval settings?
In the Review Settings it is possible to change a few review settings that will alter the approval process to your liking. By default, all the reviewers get notifications when changes are made. You can disable this feature in approval settings.
What is a simple mode?
In the Review Settings there is a possibility to enable a Simple Mode for a review tool. Essentially, it is a feature that makes your Review Tool as basic as ever. After you enable this feature, reviewers will only be able to annotate using freeform, see all annotations and assets panel.
What is a Selective Approval Method?
Another feature that can be enabled in Review Settings is the Selective Approval Method. It allows you to approve certain versions of the mock-up rather than the whole bundle. To approve a mock-up you need to choose it from the asset panel. Bear in mind that annotations are available in the same way as without selective approval.
It's also possible to apply the selective review mode on a per-session basis. This means that within the same project, you can decide whether to use the standard approval mode or selective approval for each individual review session. To enable this, just click the Advanced button when sharing a file, and you'll have the option to set your preferred mode. The feature is available for both internal and external reviews.
What is a Checklist?
Checklist is a feature that allows you to create custom requirements for mock-up approval. It was created to make sure nothing gets overlooked during the approval process. It will be visible after clicking the Approve button in the Review Tool, and reviewers will need to tick all the boxes that signify features they approved.
To enable this system to Review Settings, open the Checklists menu and click on the create checklist button.
After you will be able to start adding your options. To create a new option, simply press enter or a button that appears at the end of the insert field after you finish writing.
Up to ten different features can be created. Moreover, there is always a possibility to edit or delete them by clicking the corresponding button at the end of each field.
Checklist can acquire a status of a default one in the editing menu, however, it is also possible to do that by clicking the button right next to its name. When set by default, the checklist will appear in all projects unless said otherwise.
How to use a spellchecker?
Spellchecker is a feature that helps you to correct any unintentional mistakes in your assets. You can access it in the Review Settings menu and choose one of the 50+ languages available.
To minimize unwanted corrections it is possible to add words that must be considered correct or incorrect. To do so write the word and press enter. All the words included will be displayed below.
