The Kanban view is a visual project management tool that represents tasks, work items, or information on a board using cards. A typical Kanban board consists of columns representing different stages of a workflow. For example:

  • To Do (tasks that need to be done)
  • In Progress (tasks that are currently being worked on)
  • Done (completed tasks)

You can customize your own Kanban board in Approval Studio by following further steps. First of all, go to the menu in the right upper corner and choose Company Management. There, go to the Branding section. Scroll to the bottom, where you'll find the feature in question. Hit the checkbox to enable the Kanban view.

Once it's enabled, you can customize the columns, adding as much as you need and providing custom names.

Now, you can go back to the dashboard, where you'll find a new button appeared in the view options section.

Once you've set the Kanban view, you can sort your projects according to the columns manually. To do so, just drag and drop your project to the column you need. Or, open a project and choose the required column. For example, let's move new to the In Progress column.

Ta-da, the project is now just where we wanted it to be! So, feel free to alter your workflow however you want, until it meets your needs and requirements.
